Water Quality Technician Training For Members (2023)

EKCÖLAB will be holding a 1 month training from 12 June-12 July, 2023 for it’s global members to enhance and equip them with hands-on skills in managing water quality and laboratory data.This training is for those who will be working in the laboratory for water analysis and instrumentation.

Training Program

Time = 4 Days in June (1 day a week)

Audience = Those in the department of analytical science

Theme = Revisiting the missing concepts in WASH

Level = Intermediate

Topics

  1. Water quality data analysis and interpretation in Excel using data from USGS and UK Environment databases.
  2. Water Quality Assurance for surface water, ground water and mineral water.
  3. Laboratory equipment and setups
  4. Water Parameters and measuring units, and formulas
  5. Types of water analysis methods for quality testing (physical, chemical, Microbiology)
  6. Reagents used for testing water parameters
  7. Building laboratory reports with real time practice data from world ranking laboratories database.
